EV Express Isle of Wight

EV Express in the Community

We are delighted to support the Island community wherever and whenever we can.

To deal with the Coronavirus outbreak, that has included working with Age UK Isle of Wight, Wightfibre and Nosy Marketing, in the delivery of iPads to care homes.

Delivering the iPads on a regular basis is Paul Thorley from EV Express, using a demonstrator Renault Kangoo electric van.

Paul comments: “This is a great experience, really uplifting and moving. We were delighted that Renault could support us with this idea, making a real difference to our local community.”

EV Express organise various online and physical events – sharing knowledge with the Island’s community.

We believe this is important and is a part of our vision for the Island. The more EV awareness the community have, the better.

Due to the novelty of electric vehicles, it’s important for the community to have access to resources like route planners, electric vehicle information, FAQs and more.

This allows individuals and businesses to make a conscious choice which supports the environment.

We continuously work with the council, local businesses and organisations to improve the infrastructure on the Island.

This involves helping to find investors, initiating conversations, contacting mainland companies and submitting various bids.
